Stag Solent Sailing
A great first Stag sailing weekend of 2015. The varied weather added to the enjoyment. We had a long lively sail against the wind and tide from Lymington to Cowes on Saturday but a gentle downwind sail back on Sunday. A relaxing lunch in Newtown Creek where we saw one of the resident seals.
A great group of guys very keen to get involved and learn how to sail. Meant I had an easy day on Sunday when they had got to ‘know the ropes’ – and their correct terms! Very enjoyable weekend. So good none of us wanted to go back!
Another stag weekend coming up – weather looks interesting – I believe there are some experienced sailors.
