Typical misconceptions about sailing
You don’t have to know anything about sailing. You don’t even have to have ever been on a boat. That applies to the whole group. It’s not like golf (and many other sports) that if you can’t play you can’t join the game!
You don’t need special gear – outer wet weather gear can be hired and comfortable lifejackets are provided.
It doesn’t matter if you can’t swim. Swimming is optional and the weather may not allow it anyway. We only do that when at anchor which doesn’t always happen.o
You don’t have to be active – its optional – you are still very much part of the group
