Passion
I have sailed since a teenager. For the last few years I have been working as a professional yacht skipper and events organiser and have learnt what works well. I love talking with people about how a sailing day can work and what you can achieve from it so that we can tailor it to meet your requirements.
Crucially then as skipper I am part of the sailing day to ensure we deliver what you want. Seeing guests and hosts leaving the yacht so excited about what they have achieved in the day is extremely satisfying – especially having seen them arrive quite apprehensive sometimes.
Satisfaction
Sailing and boats can be a mystery to many people and yet it is a brilliant activity to do with friends or for corporate and team building events. I have experienced sailing as a corporate host, as a corporate guest, out with friends, racing, on sailing courses, as a skipper and also as an organiser of the days. This has given me a great insight into all aspects of the sailing event.
Flexible
I am flexible on how much you get involved – some people want to do a lot of ‘hands on’ sailing, others want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere without doing too much.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Instructor. I started as a teenager learning on dinghies.
My sailing ‘heart’ is around the Solent but I’ve had some wonderful sailing around the Channel Islands, French Coast, across The Channel, Biscay, Cadiz and around Portugal/Mallorca .
My corporate background means I understand corporate hospitality and team building goals and the need for value. Also the importance of creating a relaxing, enjoyable and fun atmosphere on the boat. I have sailed with friends and family so understand those goals too!

I want you as host/organiser to enjoy your day and not be stressed about the organisation. I will do all I can to help.
