No wind so a long lunch in Osborne Bay. Great sport to watch. This was really impressive – very well set up with lots of control lines and some very good dives ….and some interesting ones. These guys had skills!
No wind so swimming and ‘chilling’ out was in order. Ice cream boat came around too.
An eventful day the week before last. Two completely unrelated events – having to climb the mast and later a ‘slight’ injury to my arm. It started off as such a calm nice day on the Solent with a great group on board. Little did we imagine how it would all turn out.
Sailed to Channel Islands with a family in July. A very pleasant afternoon on a mooring buoy in Sark. We spent a couple of evenings in Victoria marina, St Peter Port close to the sill. It was interesting to watch the tide rise and fall over it – easy to know when we could leave….
Just completed teaching another Day Skipper and Competent Crew Course. Great group and we laughed as we learned. We had fantastic weather too – hopefully you can tell from some of the pictures on FB. Thanks to Sue, Roger and Judith for great company and being so keen to learn.
