The Captain of the Island Sailing Club Cricket Team has kindly sent me this Utube video.  I just have to share it – such a remarkable event – long may it continue.  I sailed around the  Bank the day after the match and couldn’t see it but you know it is lurking and here is the proof.  One day I will get to see the match for myself.  In the meantime this is just fantastic.

The Island sailing Club hosts/organises many of the great events around the Solent – Round the Island Race in particular.  It has prime views over the Solent
