Sailed to Channel Islands with a family in July. A very pleasant afternoon on a mooring buoy in Sark.
We spent a couple of evenings in Victoria marina, St Peter Port close to the sill. It was interesting to watch the tide rise and fall over it – easy to know when we could leave. Fortunately they now have walk ashore pontoons out side the sill – convenient but no electric!

Great stag sailing weekend a few weeks ago. Plenty of wind but also sunshine. Made for some exciting sailing and it certainly blew any cobwebs or hangovers away. It was hard to take photos but here are a few. Good video too which I hope to be able to upload shortly.
Another great Stag sailing weekend on the Solent. Saturday was windy and sunny and some good sailing. It was nice enough to swim in Osborne Bay – and the guys did just that. Note the Stag in his ‘attire’ already. His friends had more dresses for him to wear later! Sunday was a different story….

Another beautiful sunset on the Solent. We set off for our night sail shortly after this. A night sail I did a week after this was rather different – wild, wet and windy! Guess you take the rough with the smooth. Both sails were great experiences.
