Windy Solent Sailing Days Again
Plenty of wind this week – reached 36 knots once (that is a force 8 gale)! Guests were apprehensive at first. They had to work hard and got wet but they absolutely loved it and had lots of stories to tell. Too windy to take many pictures though.
Mix of corporate days and a 40th birthday celebration and a mix of Cowes and Yarmouth.Saw the start close up of the Cowes Dinard St Malo RORC race Friday afternoon as they set off across the channel. Just shows sailing can be fun on a calm sunny day AND a wet windy day.
