Weather changes rapidly. On our recent Day Skipper Course we started with rain, rainbow, beautiful sunset on first evening as we sailed to Beaulieu. Look at the wonderful Monday morning we had coming out of Beaulieu. So calm and magical.

No wind so a long lunch in Osborne Bay. Great sport to watch. This was really impressive – very well set up with lots of control lines and some very good dives ….and some interesting ones. These guys had skills! No wind so swimming and ‘chilling’ out was in order. Ice cream boat came around…
No pictures of the corporate sailing day last week due to heavy fog in the morning. Nevertheless the weather turned positive in the afternoon so a nice sail with a great group. As ever sailing proved the need for teamwork and there was some great feedback.
Solent Wildlife in all its forms. This ‘thing’ found its way into the inlet pipe for the heads. Sadly it didn’t survive but it succeeded in preventing sea water being flushed into the toilet. Sailed to Channel Islands with a family in July. A very pleasant afternoon on a mooring buoy in Sark. We spent a couple of evenings in Victoria marina, St Peter Port close to the sill. It was interesting to watch the tide rise and fall over it – easy to know when we could leave….
