Another stag sailing weekend on the Solent – sailing from Lymington to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth via Cowes for lunch. Fantastic weather and great sailing with competitive racing and lots of banter.

Great stag sailing weekend a few weeks ago. Plenty of wind but also sunshine. Made for some exciting sailing and it certainly blew any cobwebs or hangovers away. It was hard to take photos but here are a few. Good video too which I hope to be able to upload shortly.
Completed Round The Island race in just under 9 hours. Had a fantastic group on board – we sailed well and had lots of fun. Perfect conditions for this unique race.
Solent has more than sailing. Look at a small example of the ‘wildlife’. Such a range of wildlife and views sailing on The Solent. See the Seal in Newtown Creek. Then in the marinas like the duck in Hamble and the swan in Lymington and even the Birds on the Needles. We often swim in Newtown Creek…
Sun and wind – absolutely perfect for sailing. Had some great trips over last few weeks – corporate and social groups. Done some fun racing too.
It helps to have wind for sailing but lack of it did not spoil the fun of the medical regatta this weekend. Just meant Pimms at lunch time outside Newtown Creek having drifted down to the first mark. Champagne later and dinners at the Royal London Yacht Club and Royal Yacht Squadron. Great mix of…
