Sun to Gales on Solent
3 very different days – plenty of wind and sun for a Stag group sailing to Yarmouth for lunch with fun matched racing in the afternoon. (After the strenuous day, will they have lasted the pace for night clubbing in the evening?). Following day gales kept us in the marina but fortunately it was only going to be a practice day. An industry regatta followed (and a nice sunny day again) with a couple of short races in the morning before the wind died in the afternoon. Having won the races on Saturday sorry to say we were towards the other end of the fleet yesterday! Still all the more reason to keep practicising – every day is so different.
