Value for Money Sailing
Having had to cut my costs personally and look for good value in everything (which I have done without feeling disadvantaged), I am applying that to sailing events. Sailing can be expensive – or at least when you add up all the bits around it. However it doesn’t have to be that way. I want people to have a great day at an affordable and sensible price.
Having spent the summer taking guests out and organising team events, I can see where costs for customers can be minimised whilst still getting a great sailing day. I just can’t help watching costs – both for me and for others – especially people chartering a boat and doing a sailing event. It is not just costs – I am also keen to minimise waste with an eye on the environment generally.
I love sailing and being on the water. I want others to be able to try it and I am acutely aware of how costs can mount up – after all people need to eat and drink at the very least.
I am learning I can do just the sailing day or I can help with the catering arrangements in whatever form that may take. I now know I can ensure a fantastic day for guests by organising all the ‘bits around’ the sailing and I can do it in a way that costs the charterers less. I can’t help wanting to make it the best day possible both for guests and the hosts organising the event. In short better all round service for less money.
