Annual Bramble Cricket Match on the Solent

History behind this bizarre Solent cricket match.  Long may it last – crazy but such fun.  I was thrilled to at last see it live on Thursday morning at 6am in the middle of the Solent.

I am planning to enter the first race in the Hamble Winter Series on Sunday 6 October on a Beneteau 40.7.   This will include a practice afternoon with spinnaker (weather permitting) from 12.30 on Saturday afternoon 5 October.  The boat will be in Port Hamble overnight so people can go home if they wish….
