2400 Solo rowing challenge across the Pacific from California to Hawaii. Part of Elsa’s training is to do her Yachtmaster theory and then the RYA Competent Crew practical course which is how I have ‘met’ her. I am planning to enter the first race in the Hamble Winter Series on Sunday 6 October on a Beneteau 40.7. This will include a practice afternoon with spinnaker (weather permitting) from 12.30 on Saturday afternoon 5 October. The boat will be in Port Hamble overnight so people can go home if they wish….
